We hope that the outcome of the meetings with various officials and experts in the field, presents the perfect opportunity to enhance your knowledge on a number of matters and issues in order to reach a full understanding of them.
Your meeting with officials from the Kuwait Diplomatic Institute will avail the opportunity to deliberate and examine a number of matters related to your responsibilities, thus improving them in the interest of our country and people.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The government's keenness to implement  the economic strategy emanates from the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to render the State of Kuwait an International economic and financial hub, which requires widening diplomatic relations, forming representative missions serving the joint interests between Kuwait and those countries, and boosting the objectives and purposes of this strategy through the notion of economic diplomacy, which comes at the forefront of your diplomatic tasks that include explaining and accentuate economic legislations drawn by the State to encourage and attract investments, while developing economic relations built on joint interests.

Your role as Ambassadors of the State of Kuwait to a number of brotherly and friendly countries, and International and regional organizations requires increased efforts to demonstrate the new legislations pertaining to Kuwait's respect of human rights and labour and other legal procedures in this aspect, highlighting Kuwait's prominent role in supporting efforts to achieve International peace and security as well as combating terrorism in all its shapes and forms.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am confident that the directives you received from His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah , will be a beacon to guide you, and a course to follow that will attain our goals for the good and welfare of our country and its people.

Finally, it is with much pleasure that I convey my special appreciation to the Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and officials from the Foreign Ministry for your distinguished role in serving your country and people.
